Not to try to dissuade you, but I’m still not 100% happy with the pizza-on-the-stone method. My favorite homemade pizzas are pan pizzas, which you can make in a dark 9″ round cake pan. You’ll probably want a pizza peel too for putting them into the oven and taking them back out again. You can try to use the back of a baking sheet, but that seems problematic.

That said, I absolutely *adore* my baking stone for making breads, so it’s a solid investment.

I used to use it for baking pretty much everything — frozen convenience foods, biscuits, and the like — but have since learned that is a mistake. The problem is that you want some grease to bake into it to give it a non-stick effect, but too much and you’re left with a stinky, caked-on mess on the surface that builds up over time and is impossible to remove unless you send it through an oven clean cycle. (They recommend against doing that, but YMMV. ^^; ) For now, I *only* use my stone for bread and pizza, and I scrape it down with a wad of crumpled aluminum foil and a brush every time.

Seriously, the characters are what I’ve heard the best things about for ME/2, and they’re probably the one reason I’d suffer through the games. I’m starting to think getting ME for 360 was a poor decision, though. Metroid Prime aside, my experiences with shooters have only been on the PC, and I’m starting to wonder if the controller really isn’t a great tool to use for the game. (OTOH, I got it for 360 because I didn’t want that DRM shit on my PC… damned if you do…)

Also, CURSE YOU for those screenshots of Infinity Gene PS3. I really don’t want to buy that game twice, but… >.< Yeah, I do wish that you could change allegiances / do-over the nation selection in XIV. I'd make Nahara Gridanian and Tasha... I actually don't know. Still, main plotline aside, there's really no value in being allied with a specific nation. Heck, there's no factionalism at all in XIV. The fact that there’s only one “side” (practically speaking) was one of the appealing things about XI, and remains so in XIV.

I should probably do a blog entry myself…

I’ve looked at options for DNC and RNG (the latter mostly against my will). The requirements look pretty scary, though, so I’m not starting yet.

I will note, though, that a maxed-out Astrild (Bow) has nearly as much raw damage as a Yoichi. The guns are an odd case; I’m not sure any one gun would make me take up Marksmanship again as a Ranger, but they look like good options for a Corsair…

Longest lunch I’ve EVER had (1:30 to 11:00 PM?!). It was funny watching ire get hooped up on Puccho, though. :P

I never got along with Narel, but I never wished him ill. He’s part of the Caitsith family, and I’m sad to see him go…
